I doing my first 10k, the Santa Clause Run in Irvine this year. My friend Trish and I wanted to get our butts back in gear so we signed up for this. It’s only 6 miles so we can focus on the time and effort part this time versus just completing the last one( my first half marathon).We wanted to do something for the holidays that was more active than the usual. In years past, we might go out and have a few cocktails and that’s how we spent quality time together. That doesn’t fit our ” active lifestyle” goals anymore. We thought this sounded festive!We start training tonight!
